The changes in my uppers are getting more subtle - still a ways to go with noticeable movement in my lowers, though.Tonight - still less than 48 hrs. since changing to this newest set. A bit on the hypersensitive side yet & I had a bit of trouble lining my bite up - like I had to chomp down on my back teeth a few times first, but it's still not quite right this pic.

This was with Set #8 - about 5 months ago, I guess.

Here is the difference between now & with Set #11 below:

& This is now compared with Set #8 below:

And now compared to a month ago -
You can see the staggering beginning to straighten out.
I especially can see this when I floss.

Just an observation to insert here: as the spaces open up between the overcrowded ones, those little "black hole" areas left behind give the illusion of stains or even something caught between them - I'm not liking that look much, but not much can be done about that unless you have major IPR to tighten the contacts back up.
Lastly - from Set #11:

THIS is much BETTER.

I can't believe how straight your teeth are getting! I love seeing this progress!
I'm also going to copy your style of posting "current" and "before" pictures side by side. It really speaks volumes.
wow looks great Anne. Your bottoms, when they started to separate a bit did they feel loose? I was just wondering. Your teeth really are looking great! How many more aligners do you have left anyway?
Thanks Gals!
Penny, I've not had any tooth actually feel "loose" yet. I will say they feel somewhat unstable during the first 2-3 days of a new set, though - it's what I call that "hypersensitive" period when if you bite down without your trays in place, your teeth feel quite tender due to the new movement. I've tried to wiggle my front ones to see if they ever actually move at all under the pressure, but so far they haven't.
I've got 23 trays @ upper and lower in my initial plan, so that's 5 more sets - which takes me right up to the week before Christmas.
How's that for a nice gift? Even if there's any refinement decided on then, it'll still seem like the worst is over. Retainers, I can handle too - whatever it takes!
I'll have you know, you both are cracking me up with your blogs' creative writing skills...they're kinda fun, aren't they?
;)
Anne
I just gotta be me :).
Only 5 more trays wow that's great! I have 7 more sets and both the bottom and top will be done at the same time. My bottom tray again is trying to cut off the side of my tongue ouch. Lulu said to chew on tongue depressers. tried that last night. ouch I thought she said it wouldnt hurt liar liar pants on fire.
well night night or day day, whatever.
