That centre front gap is visibly closing now...not bad for 6 weeks time.

The lower anteriors are moving outwards & forward, making room to relieve the crowding.

Gaps can be seen diminishing, with a slight turning of my laterals.

My protruding anteriors are now beginning to straighten inwards.

Left side comparison of profile ( sorry - couldn't get the angle exactly the same).

Hi Anne,
I'm so glad I found your blog! Thanks so much for keeping us up to date! I started 6 days ago and its been rough, so reading your "story" has definitley helped me keep from going into complete panic!
Love the photos! You're making great progress!
Meg
Hey Meg ---
I'm glad you found your way here, too! Your first couple of weeks are indeed a time of hypersensitivity - seems in the beginning EVERYTHING seems like a big deal & it's all consuming. Not to worry - you'll soon be feeling better; able to manage your routine easily & even forget your trays are in at times - oh, yes - you will!
Can you say what your treatment entails? How many trays & what you're trying to fix?
It is good to compare stories - it's all so very personal, but really helps to talk to others going through the same thing.
No more thinking about complete panic now -
there's lots of "us" out there...
Keep in touch if you can,
& thanks!
Anne
Hi Anne,
I have 37 uppers, 27 lower and lots of crowding. Had braces when I was younger and just couldn't go back there! I've been thinking about doing this for years, and now that I'm getting married next June I'm more motivated than ever.
The invisibility is really important for me so things like attachements (due to go on at Tray #3) and trays that have some extra space, etc have sort of thrown me for a loop. Also experiencing the dry mouth, jaw clenching, and major lisp issues.
I just want to fast forward to 2 weeks from now since everyone seems confident it will be better by then. I can't imagine what I would be thinking right now without these blogs & message boards!
Keep in touch!
Megan
Thanks for the Yahoo Groups link.
Wow Anne, things are looking great! I'm seeing very good progress as well and my trays still fit great. Currently on #12/24 upper and #12/35 lower. Halfway there on the uppers!
Eric
Thanks, Eric! That is wonderful you're seeing good progress as well - seems with these last 2 sets all of a sudden - it's happening! Happening so that I can see the progress easily in the mirror now, anyway. It's very motivating, isn't it?
Tommorrow I have another checkup & can hardly wait to see my next 3 sets of aligners. It's official - I am halfway through my initial plan now (set 12 of 23 both U/L). Can you believe how fast it seems to be going along now?
I'll post some more comparison pics, soon ---
stay well now, Eric & thanks for checking in.
Anne
